VBA Software April 2015 Release Notes

ENROLLMENT SERVICES
  • Added the Rollover Amount field from the Group Flex Options. The Available Balance is calculated using any Rollover Amount from the prior year.
  • FUNDING SERVICES
  • The Process Check wizard will now check the Auto-Create Flex settings and create Flex claims as needed.
  • GATEWAY SERVICES
  • Modified the Request Confirm/Reject process to include a much more friendly and detailed summary of the submitted request from VBAGateway. Every VBAGateway Request (Member, Provider or Employer) will be displayed in this common format. Example: Add Employee (Employer Terminal Request).
  • Modified the Authorization Request (Provider Terminal) to denote the Auth # on the request once it has been confirmed. This allows the user who has subscribed to this type of request to navigate directly to the created Authorization right from the request screen.
  • Modified the Claim Request (Provider Terminal) to denote the Batch #/Claim on the request once it has been confirmed. This allows the user who has subscribed to this type of request to navigate directly to the created Claim right from the request screen.
  • Added the ability to send messages through the Gateway Message Center, directly in the VBA application.
  • Enhanced User Maintenance for Gateway Users to allow administrators the ability to update User ID and Email Address as well as modify the reference information for what Member, Provider or Employer that particular user is attached.
  • GROUP SERVICES
  • Added a Rollover Amount to Flex Options. This amount is used to determine the next year’s available balance by adding a leftover balance up to the Rollover Amount. A Flex plan can have a Rollover Amount or a Grace Period, but not both.
  • VBAdjudicate
  • Added logic to the Flex claim rule to process Rollover Amounts.

      MEMBER TERMINAL

      EMPLOYER TERMINAL
      • The Add Employee Wizard has been added. To open the Add Employee Wizard, select “Add Employee” from the online enrollment menu.
      • The Add Employee Wizard has 5 steps:
        • Step 1: Employee Information
          • Add the employee information including name, address, and other personal information. Also add the employee’s effective and employment dates.
        • Step 2: Add Dependents
          • Add dependent information for spouse, children, or other dependents.
        • Step 3: Add Coverage
          • Add coverage plans to the subscriber, with effective dates.
        • Step 4: Other Insurance
          • Attach other insurance information to any dependents.
        • Step 5: Confirmation
          • Confirm that the information added using the wizard is correct, and that you have added the information according to the plan.
          • Users can edit any pending Add Employee information by clicking the Request in the Request POD. Pending Requests can be identified by the gears icon.
          • The Employee Information Census has been updated.
          • Removed the VBAdge placeholder badges.
