Professional History

Ian joined VBA in February 2021 as a Software Developer and was promoted to Software Development Manager – Engagement Solutions in 2023. In this role, he is responsible for leading multiple teams of software developers who design, develop and support VBA’s web solutions, such as VBAGateway.

Prior to joining VBA, Ian worked as a UI/UX Senior Developer at Trimble. He brings more than 20 years of experience to his role, using his knowledge of the current technology landscape to promote best practices in web design. He has held a variety of development positions for client-facing and internal applications in companies such as Meridian Systems, Golden 1 Credit Union, Cology and BizFlex.

Personal Interests

When he is away from work, Ian enjoys coaching baseball, playing video games, and collecting way too many board games.
